He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin L. Blanton and Annie Mae Kizer Blanton; his brother Michael; and his granddaughter Brandi. He is survived by: his siblings, Marvin Blanton, Jr. (Carolyn) and Mildred Hopkins (Donald); his daughter Kina Blanton (Tony Hewitt); his stepson Chris Abner (Darla); his grandchildren, Karly and Cody; and his stepgrandchildren, Jessica, Holly and Ethan. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
