Jennie Mae Schertz Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 2, 2023, at the age of 81, Jennie Mae Schertz of Slidell, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband James Schertz; her parents, T. N. Maxwell and Jennie Mattie Maxwell; her brother Tom Maxwell; her sisters-in-law, Marge and Sue Maxwell; her father-in-law Johnnie; her grandmother Dell Schertz; her sisters-in-law, Kathoma "Kathy" Bounds and Ann Schertz; and her nephew Matt Maxwell.
She is survived by: her sons, Danny Schertz (Laurie) of Decatur, TX and David Schertz (Dawn) of Slidell, TX; her brother Frank Maxwell of Decatur; her grandchildren, Trey Schertz, Rance Schertz (Kendra), Denae Beedlow (Matt), Colby Schertz, Caleb Schertz and Sydney Schertz; and her great grandchildren, Spencer, Gavin Schertz, Hayes, Hyatt and Hallie Beedlow.
