She was predeceased by: her parents, Reece Wallis and Bernice Wallis (Weeks); her sisters, Lola Bernice Pate and Wanda Sleighholm; her brothers-in-law, Joe Bohac (Alice) and Jackie Bohac (Maude); and her daughter Brenda Kay Bohac Lewis.
She is survived by: her spouse Willie B. Edward Bohac; her sister Beth Ermis of Mathis; and her children, Cynthia Bohac of Corpus Christi and Steven Bohac (Abylene) of Skidmore. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Joye's name may be made to the Adams Street Church of Christ.
