He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Ancira Sr. and Juanita Jimenez Ancira; his wife Gloria Perez Ancira; his siblings, Martin Ancira Jr., Petra Ancira Flores, Inocencia Ancira Gomez and Gloria Perez Ancira; his daughter Rebecca Ancira; and his stepchildren, Barbara Ann Perez and Guadalupe Perez.
He is survived by: his children, Irma A. Bryan (Edward), Monica Allen (Lance), Hilda A. Guzman, Ector Ancira, John Roland Ancira (Misty), Gilbert Ancira Jr. (Tonya) and Ruben Cruz (Veronica). He is also survived by thirty-six grandchildren; fifty-two great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
