He was predeceased by: his parent Santos; and his wife Juanita Jasso. He is survived by: his mother Maria Tamez, Sr. (Alaniz) of Robstown; his children, Enrique Tamez, Jr. (Melissa Galindo) of Skidmore, Jessica Carabajal (Juan) of Ingleside, Jennifer Tamez of Ingleside and Juanita Tamez (Billy Perez) of Skidmore; and his siblings, Santos Tamez, Jr. of Dallas, Hector Tamez, Sr. (Rosie) of Robstown, Ernesto Tamez, Sr. (Belia) of Skidmore, Enedina De La (Manuel) of Robstown, Eva Garcia (Roberto) of Robstown, Elsa Carrion (Ruben) of Robstown, Belinda Cantu (Eric) of Robstown and Elma Torres (David) of Skidmore. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
