Anita (Plainview) O. Castillo Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anita (Plainview) O. Castillo of Skidmore, Texas, who passed away on May 4, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rafael Olivares and Raquel Olivares; her husbands, Jesus G. Toscano of Master's Degree, Jose A. Franco and Antonio Castillo; and her son Antonio Toscano.
She is survived by: her children, Rachel Harmon (David), Jesus Toscano Jr. (Marian) and JoAnne Franco York; her grandchildren, Sam Toscano, Lena Toscano, David Harmon Jr. (Frankie), Tim DeWitt, Alexa Toscano, TJ Toscano, Sarah York Dooley (Luke) and Angela York Maddell (James); her great grandchildren, Olive Toscano, Jack, Everett Dooley, Lila, Leo and Matthew Maddell; her sisters, Elia Alvarado and Yolanda Silva; and also Lisa Toscano. She is also survived by many nephews, nieces, great-nephews and great-nieces.
Anita was also involved in many civic organizations in Plainview including being secretary of the RSVP Advisory Council Board, serving on the Civic & Social Agency Board, and serving as treasurer of the Financial Committee of Primera Iglesia Bautista where she was also Mother of the Year in 1984.
