He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy Thornburg and Elimina Thornburg; and his siblings, Guy Daniel Thornburg, Jerry Thornburg and Bonnie Lee Clifton.

He is survived by: his close friends, Carolyn and Nick Nichols; and his friends, Kelley, Russell Feerer, Megan and Gus. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
