It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maxine Cox of Skellytown, Texas, who passed away on January 2, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her significant other Fox; her parents, Carmon Gore and Kathleen Gore; her siblings, Wayne Gore and Nelda Lamb; her nephew Bryan Ellis; her sons, Larry Frick of Los Angeles, CA, Clinton "Nick" Nichols (Kimberly) of Yuba City, CA and Tommy Joe Cox of Pampa; her sister Gail Ellis (Clint) of Los Lunas, NM; her grandsons, Stacyn Cox of Pampa, Quinn Nichols of Yuba City, CA and Liam Nichols of Yuba City, CA; her niece Lana Norman (Brandon); and her nephew Christopher Ellis of Los Lunas, NM.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Winegeart Funeral Home Serenity Chapel (300 W Browning Ave, Pampa, TX 79065). A burial was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Fairview Cemetery (1500 Duncan St, Pampa, TX 79065).
