James Unruh Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Unruh of Skellytown, Texas, who passed away on December 26, 2020 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Uriah Unruh and Flora Unruh (Ely); and his siblings, Margaret Buffington, Danny Unruh, Eugene Dungan-Unruh and Jonathan Unruh.
He is survived by: his daughters, Holly Dunsworth (David) of Lawton and Veronica Vanhouten (Rikkey) of Pampa; his former wife Cora Wallin of Pampa; his grandchildren, Aries Villarreal, Alisa Villarreal and Kayla Dunsworth; his siblings, Stella Williams of Kansas City, MO, Judy Kendrick of Parsons, KS, Virginia Ashley (Grant) of Oak Ridge, TN, Deborah Smith, LeRoy Unruh (Joanne) of Modesto, CA, Aaron Unruh (Terry) of Weatherford, OK and Joseph Unruh of Parsons, KS; and his nephew Mark Dungan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Due to the COVID Pandemic and traveling restrictions, the family has opted to hold Memorial Services at a later time.
Should donations in memory of James be a preference, the family suggests they be made to the Texas Panhandle Workshop at 1301 Somerville Street, Pampa, TX 79065.
