She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Doris Mae (Glab) and Robert Benjamin Britton, Jr.; her siblings, Robert Benjamin Britton, III and Terry Lynn Vigil; her children, Richard Dean Hanson of Ft. Benning, GA, Brenda Sue Hanson (Eulogio Garcia) of Sinton and Lacey Thornton (Billy) of Dallas, Texas; her grandchildren, Aralynn Grace Garcia, Jennifer Nicole Garcia and Paul Michael Garcia; and her sister Carole A. Hines (Jeffrey) of San Antonio.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests garden plants, a rose bush that blooms unique roses or monetary donations be made to any animal shelter of choice with a no-kill policy.
