He was predeceased by: his parents, Harwood Mires and Ann Mires; and his brother Darrell Mires. He is survived by: his wife Lissa Mires; his brother Barry Mires; his daughters, Kari Mires (Christopher Vanecek) and Bethany Carroll (Tracey); and his grandchildren, Rain Carroll, Aryn Vanecek, Ryan Vanecek and Sky Carroll.
