He is survived by: his wife Stella Adams Davila; his children, Virginio Gomez, Jr., Alonzo Gomez and Elisa Candelario; his grandsons, Oscar Candelario, Peter Candelario and Ronnie Candelario; his children, Rudy Davila, Gilbert Gomez (Yolanda) and Eloisa Salinas of Seguin; and his sisters, Amanda Sanchez of Sinton and Tomasa Martinez (Florentino) of Brownfield. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; and 31 great-grandchildren.
