It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lydia Quilimaco of Sinton, Texas, who passed away on August 22, 2021, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frances Piña (Gonzales) and Juan Piña; her husband Armando Quilimaco; her sons, Eric and Mauricio Quilimaco; and her siblings, Oscar Piña, Angelica Trevino, Elia Vasquez and Deana Flores.
She is survived by: her children, Melinda Quilimaco (Reyes Recendiz) and Marcos Quilimaco of Sinton, Texas; her grandchildren, Oscar, Enricque, Angelica, Maribella, Sebastian Duran, Julia Duran (Chris Cano) and Juan Recendiz of Sinton, Texas; her great-nephews, Patrick Vasquez and Michael Garza; her aunt Rosita Martinez of Sinton, Texas; and her brothers, LeeRoy Piña (Naomi) of Sinton, Texas, Carlos Piña (Adela), Rudy Piña of Plano, Texas, Robert Piña of Pearland, Texas, Patrick Piña (Annie) of Amarillo, Texas and Bobby Joe Garcia. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
