He was predeceased by: his parents, Myron L. Matsler and Rose M. Matsler (Ehrhardt); his wife Jane (Shultz); his brother-in-law Steven Shultz; and also, Orville and Jerry Shultz.
He is survived by: his son James R. Matsler (Jimmy) of Sinton, TX; his sisters, Susan Merkler (Michael) of Sinton, TX and Lynn Brod (Thomas) of Bulverde, TX; his brother-in-law Richard Schultz of Henderson, NV.; and his aunt Fonda Matsler of Amarillo, TX. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, colleagues, and friends.
