He is survived by: his children, James Aaron Contreras of San Antonio, Benjamin Contreras of Robstown, Texas, Abby Contreras and Leann Cruz of Sinton, Texas; and his stepgrandchildren, Zoe Amaya and Storie Squyres. He is also survived by numerous extended family members and friends.
