He was predeceased by: his wife Maria Minerva Morales; his children, Pedro Gonzalez, Jr., Marie Antoinette "Toni" Warfel and Helen Berube; and his parents, Adan Gonzalez and Antonia Gonzalez.
He is survived by: his children, Juan R. Gonzalez (Norma) of Kyle, Ana Woodford of Indiana and Linda Mahoney (Robert) of New Yok. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; three brothers and four sisters.
