He was predeceased by: his wife Janie Gallegos; and his parents, Jose Gallegos and Porfiria Gallegos. He is survived by: his children, Hector Gallegos, Jr. (Connie) of Sinton, Texas, George Gallegos of Sinton, Texas, Joel Gallegos (Susan) of Orange Grove, Texas and Andrea G. Alvarez (Erasmo) of Mathis, Texas; and his siblings, Juan Gallegos of Modesto, California, Emma Garza of Los Fresnos, Texas, Angelita Garza (Faustino) of Los Fresnos, Texas, Margarita Alvarez of Lake Dallas, Texas, Consuelo Ayala of Omaha, Nebraska and Alicia Lopez (Guadalupe) of Kingsville, Texas. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren.
