He was predeceased by: his wife Ernestina Rodriguez; and his son Rudy Rodriguez. He is survived by: his daughters, Margie Mercier (Donald) of Sinton and Betty Mendez (Leo) of Corpus Christi; his grandchildren, Carolyn Mercier of Conroe and Andrew Mercier of Oxnard; and his sister Modesta Rodriguez of Taft. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
