He was predeceased by: his father Felix Alaniz; and his sister Lydia Alaniz. He is survived by: his mother Janie Alaniz (Ramos) of Sinton; his children, Christian Alaniz, Faith Alaniz, Hope Alaniz, Michael Alaniz and Stacie Alaniz of Austin; and his siblings, Estella Caballero (Victor), JoAnn Serna, Michael Alaniz (Sonya), Johnny Alaniz (Margie), Christopher Alaniz and Gabriella Alaniz. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel (606 S San Patricio St, Sinton, TX 78387). A rosary was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at the Eternal Rest Cemetery (801 N Vineyard Ave, Sinton, TX 78387).
