He was predeceased by: his parents, Catarina Gonzales (Nanez) and Marcos Gonzales. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Gonzales of Sinton, Texas; his children, Cecilio Gonzales, Jr. of Sinton, Texas and Mari G. Barrera (Roy) of Calallen, Texas; his grandchildren, Sergio Ramirez, Arabella Barrera, Ariana Barrera and Christian Gonzales; and his great grandchildren, Andrew Castaneda and Alexis Ann Salinas.
