She was predeceased by: her husband Martin; and her siblings, Bill Sr., Eugene Hixson, Gerald Hixson, Mary Sheridan and Katherine LaRue.
She is survived by: her brother Sherald Hixson of Houston; her sisters-in-law, Dorthy Hixson of San Angelo, Carol Hixson of California and Shirley Koening of San Antonio; her children, Deborah Fojtik (Frank) of Rosenberg and Gary (Janet) of Houston; her grandchildren, Jeffrey Fojtik and Marcie Hendershot (Shannon) of Rosenberg, Texas; and her great grandchildren, Jacob and Juliana Hendershot of Rosenberg. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and a host of loving friends.
In the lieu of flowers, the family request donations to be made in her name to St. Paul Lutheran Church,.
