It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Velda Jean Pynes Thomas of Simms, Texas, who passed away on December 19, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Byron Elven and Amy Huckabay Pynes; her husband Bobby Thomas; her siblings, Jerry Elvin Pynes and Elsa Pynes Roberts; her brother-in-law Doden King; and her grandson Craig Miller.
She is survived by: her sons, Toby, Tim and Bobby, Jr. (Edith Thomas); and her brother-in-law James Roberts of New Boston, Texas. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and numerous other family members and friends.
