He was predeceased by: his parents, James Elder and Peggy Jo Reese Elder. He is survived by: his children, Glen Elder of Simms, Texas and Staci; his son-in-law Jacob Brown of Texarkana, Texas; his grandchildren, Ryan Elder of Simms and Baker Brown of Texarkana, Texas; his siblings, Jimmy (Linda Elder), Sean (Tessa Elder), John Black of Martingale, Kathy (Steve Baylor) and Rhonda (Del Tomberlin); and his stepmother Maxine Elder of Simms, Texas. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
