She was predeceased by: her parents, John Bunger and Suzy Bunger; her husband James Burkhalter; her siblings, Irene, Sissy, Helen, Christine, Lucille, Jack and Bill; her daughters-in-law, Linda Burkhalter and Patricia Burkhalter; and her grandson Philip Burkhalter.
She is survived by: her sons, Charles Burkhalter of New Boston, Lloyd Burkhalter of Waskom and Paul (Tracie Burkhalter); her grandchildren, Caleb, Joel Ariah Burkhalter (Katherine), Jimmy, Anita Nolan, Karen and Brian Davison; her great grandchildren, Christian, Titus, Isaiah, Galadriel Burkhalter (Ellie), Evan, Leah, Lindsey Foster, Samuel and Cami Ellis; and her friends, Kathy, Bobbie Sellers, John Paul Sellers, Fran Minor, Jack and Pauline McKeever. She is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
