He was predeceased by: his parents, Jodie William Obenoskey and Viola Mae Coleman Obenoskey; his wife Goldie Obenoskey; his sons, Larry Obenoskey and David Obenoskey; and his siblings, Joe Obenoskey, Chuck Obenoskey, Norris Obenoskey, Donnie Obenoskey, Milton Obenoskey and Opal Green.
He is survived by: his sons, Perry (GuJuan Obenoskey), Rodney (Mindy Obenoskey), Billy (Vicki Obenoskey) and Charlie Obenoskey (Tonia Lee); and his sister Mary Derue of New Boston, Texas. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; twenty-nine great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
