We are sad to announce that on January 8, 2020, at the age of 84, Jim Elder (Simms, Texas), born in Sicklerville, New Jersey passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Patrick and Esther G. Wilson Elder; and his former wife Peggy J. Elder. He is survived by: his wife Maxine Elder of Simms, Texas; his children, Jimmy Elder (Linda) of Houston, Mike Elder of Simms, Sean Elder (Tessa) of Texarkana, Mike Daniel (Mashell) of Simms, Texas, Kathy Baylor (Steve) of Sweeney and Rhonda Tomberlin (Del) of Holly Lake, Texas; his daughter-in-law Susan McIntyre of Simms, Texas; his sisters, Pat Norman of Orlando, Kathleen Kulas of West Berlin and Esther Taylor of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; and his grandchildren, Jason Baylor, Jaime Baylor, Nikki Pimentel, Glen Elder, Staci Elder, Kyle Elder, Kristen Elder, Kandis Elder and Ross Daniel. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
