He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Hiram and Lucille Smallwood; his son Donnie Smallwood; his parents-in-law, Donald and Daisy Foster; and his brother Authur Smallwood.
He is survived by: his wife Deborah Smallwood of Simms, TX; his children, Daisy Smith of New Boston, TX and Steven; his daughter-in-law Nichole Smallwood of Texarkana, TX; his grandchildren, Kayelee (Gavin Rhea), Bailey (Jayden Smallwood), Lane Hilligoss (Maddie Smallwood) and Anthony Bryan (Josh Ainsworth); his siblings, Homer (Judy Smallwood), Charles (Mary Smallwood), Leslie (Darlene Smallwood), Hershel (Deadra Smallwood), Pat (Plunk Murphy), Margie Vineyard of New Boston, TX, Rachel (Larry Grooms), Sherry (David Norton) and Nancy (Ray Satterfield); his uncles, Henry Smallwood of Old Boston, TX, Check and Jewel Brown of Marietta, TX; and his aunt Dewy Wyninegar of Atlanta, TX. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.
