It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Genevieve Jones of Simms, Texas, born in Mabank, Texas, who passed away on July 28, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John T. Hammer and Susie Belle Hammer; her sons, Kim Jones of Dekalb and Kary Jones (Sharon) of New Boston, Texas; her grandchildren, Brandie Jack, John Kim Jones, Kristopher Jones, Dana Payne, Dustin Jones and Aaron Jones; and her sister Lola Wortham. She was also cherished by great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild along with other relatives.
