She is survived by: her husband Perry Smitherman; her children, Clay Wiley, Jr. of North Charleston, John Wiley (Gina) of Rudy, Ron Wiley (Kathy) of Watts, Oklahoma, Genia Taylor (Rod) of Rarden and Patti Chastain (Tony) of Mt. Home, Arkansas; her niece Barb Kruger of Broomfield; and her nephew Jay Mullens of New Iberia, Louisiana.. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and twenty-one great grandchildren.
