It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Kay Brassell of Simms, Texas, who passed away on September 18, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Leon Smith and Margie Smith; her husband Charles Brassell; her sisters, Betty Grimes, Kathy Hestand and Pamela (Lloyd Ward); and her children, David (Jodey Christen), Debra (Jeff Shaw), Dewayna (John Gortney), Danny (Tawnia Christen) and Marci (Rick Bowen). She was also cherished by 20 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends.
