He was predeceased by: his wife Lou Ann Strickland Karr; his parents, Lois Kelly and LeRoy Karr; and his brother Leon "Tooter" Karr. He is survived by: his children, Kim, Karry Karr of Simms and Angela; his son-in-law Jerrell Ritchie Jr. of New Boston; and his grandchildren, Kody Wayne Karr (Stephanie Hilton Karr) of Simms, Jerrell Ritchie III (JT), Blake Lane Karr, Kyler Waylon Karr and Samuel Curtis Karr.
