She was predeceased by: her parents, Vicente Chapa and Maria Louisa Chapa; and her daughter Graciela Carbajal. She is survived by: her husband Jesus Maciel of Tulia; her children, Abel Maciel (Amber) of Tulia, Jessica Medellin of Tulia, Maria Louisa Maciel of Tulia and Sylvester Maciel (Raquel) of Tulia; her grandchildren, DJ Maciel, Mercedes Ypina and A. J. Sanchez; and her siblings, Noe Chapa of Alaska, Rebecca Cruz of Wichita Falls, Nora Cruz of Houston, Elia Rodriguez of Tulia and Rachel Garcia of Tulia. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
