He was predeceased by: his parents, Rogelio Sr. Charles and Juanita Charles; and his siblings, Maria Alicia Charles, Olivia Martinez, Raul Charles and Cipriano Charles.
He is survived by: his children, Victoria Akers (Jack) of Terre Haute, Indiana, Elisha Charles (Jeanna) of Terre Haute, Indiana and David Stoney Charles (Miranda) of Lubbock; and his brothers, Rogelio Charles (Mary) of Oklahoma and Servando Charles (Maria) of Slaton. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren.
