She was predeceased by: her parents, Iris June Wyatt White and Arthur H. White; her husbands, Gary Sterling and John Hitchcock; and her siblings, Arthur Oden White and Celia Koci.

She is survived by: her sons, David Sterling (Charla) of Buna and Shane Sterling (Michelle) of Beaumont; her grandchildren, Sharon Byrd (Justin), Stephen Sterling, Daniel Sterling and Lisa Sherman (Nico); and her great grandchild Matthew. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
