She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Baker and Virginia Shivers Baker; and her nephew Ray Acton Swanson. She is survived by: her husband Cruse Melvin of Silsbee; her sons, Timothy Ray Melvin (Beverly) of Tualatin and John Sherman Melvin (Paul Kane) of Austin; her brother John Swanson (Fredda); and her granddaughters, Ashlyn Melvin of Tualatin and Kathryn Melvin of Tualatin.
