She is survived by: her parents, Albert Edward Jones, Sr. and Bessie Simmons Jones; her daughter Nona Jenkins (Oscar) of Beaumont; her adoptive son Melvin Don King, Jr. (Angie); her grandson Gerald Michael Jenkins (Helen); and her great grandchildren, Blade King, Kennedy King of Lilburn, Georgia and O'Donus Jenkins of Galveston. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and their children.
