With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roy Apperson Sr. (Silsbee, Texas), born in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, who passed away on October 6, 2018 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his brother Brady Odom; and his sons, Mark Apperson, Sr. and Roy O'Neil Apperson, Jr.. He is survived by: his parent Vivian Kirkley; his wife Gloria Ann Posey; his daughter Thersea Apperson of Silsbee; his grandchildren, Nicole Fowler, Robert Fowler, Ashley Barnes, Shelby Apperson, Katelyn Apperson and Mark Apperson, Jr.; his great grandchildren, Ethan Cart, Brielle Barnes, Blake Pyle, Carter Pyle and Ryker Bearden; and his sisters, Barbara Jean Roberts and Paula Schiesler.
