It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rodney Rist of Silsbee, Texas, born in Springhill, Louisiana, who passed away on December 20, 2020, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Charles Ray Rist, Sr.. He is survived by: his mother Elouise Horton Rist (B. J.); his wife LaNelle Rist; his children, Jennifer Rist Smith (Justin), Janey Rist Heilmann (Cody), Mandy Gore Haga, Leeann Chance and Dusty Gore (Kim); his grandchildren, Kegan, Bailey, Emma, Triston, Weston, Annabelle and Octavia; and his siblings, Chuck Rist (Tina), Candy Lewis, Sandy Gibson (Kermit) and Angie Huebal (Pat). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and a host of relatives and friends.
