He is survived by: his wife Freda Kay Fleetwood; his sons, John Chance (Bonnie), Terry Chance (Jolie) and Randy Chance (Amanda); his brother James Chance (Jacque); his sister-in-law Wilma Chance; his sister Diann Tisdale; and his grandchildren, Jon-Calvin Chance, Ghentry Chance, Landon Chance, Emmitt Chance, Kendall Chance and Keeley Chance.
