She was predeceased by: her parents, Nancy Ann Tompkins Donalson and George Emery Donalson, Jr.; her husband Eddie Van Winkle; her son Keith Van Winkle; and her siblings, Jarrel Donalson, Mildred Worthy, George Donalson, III and Helen Bistline.
She is survived by: her children, Eddie Van Winkle (Sherry) of Silsbee, Nora Welch of Beaumont and Nancy Jacks (Jeffrey) of Nacogdoches; her granddaughter Regina Van Winkle of Port Arthur; her children, Thomas E. Van Winkle, III (Patricia) of Round Rock, Kirby Thierheimer (Zach) of Seabrooke, Daniel Van Winkle of Lumberton, Jennifer Durham of Silsbee, Marshall Van Winkle (Emily) of Edinburgh, Kathryn Jacks of Nacogdoches, Scott Jacks of Nacogdoches and Nicole Jacks of Nacogdoches; and her daughter-in-law Karen Van Winkle. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Family and Friends Silsbee Methodist Church (670 N 5th St, Silsbee, TX 77656). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Silsbee Methodist Church (670 N 5th St, Silsbee, TX 77656). A burial was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at the Rest Haven Cemetery-Silsbee (685 S 3rd St, Silsbee, TX 77656).
