He was predeceased by: his parents, Lois Laverne Van Pelt and Earl Cooper "Snooky" Van Pelt; and his sister-in-law Carol Van Pelt. He is survived by: his wife Judy Van Pelt; his son Zackary Cooper Van Pelt (Jessie); his grandsons, Kai Christian Van Pelt and Liam "Huck" Cooper Van Pelt; his brother Ronnie Earl Van Pelt; and his aunt Pansy Moulder. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
