Your work here on... " - Eddie View Sign 1939-2018 David L. Mattarocci, 79, of Silsbee, Texas, passed away peacefully on August 7, 2018 at his home surrounded by his family. Dave was born in Pueblo, Colorado to Angelo and Esther Mattarocci at their home on June 29, 1939. He graduated from Pueblo County High School in 1957. Dave is preceded in death by his father Angelo, his mother Esther, his sister Martha, several Aunts, Uncles, and Nephews. Dave is survived by his wife Eddie Mattarocci; they began their eternal love story in 1988. Dave was dedicated to his family. They were his life. He was a great father, grandfather, and great-grandfather to his children Wilbert, Wesley, Lettie Moore, Scott, Kelly Mattarocci, his grandchildren Kindall, Micah, Liam, Seth, Ethan, Zackary Moore, Hope Ponsegrau, Caden Shifflette, and great-grand-daughter Lyla Moore. He is also survived by numerous Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, and Nephews. A military honors memorial will be held at 11:00 a.m. at 1312 N. 18th St., Nederland, Texas with the U.S. Chaplain speaking. A gathering of family and friends will immediately follow. Being that Dave was a Veteran of the Viet Nam Era while serving in the U.S. Army , the family ask that in lieu of flowers and in honor of our military those who wish to, please make a donation to the "Freedom Hunters Organization" https//: freedom hunters.org in memory of David L.
