He was predeceased by: his father Clifton Callaway; and his granddaughter Emalynn Angel Callaway. He is survived by: his mother Linda Hanks Callaway of Silsbee; his son Richard Callaway of Athens; his stepson Tré Spurlock of Silsbee; his grandsons, Weldon Drew Callaway and Richard Walker Callaway; and his sisters, Cora Langley (Wayne) of Silsbee and Deborah Callaway of Port Neches. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nephews, and nieces.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 22nd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Broussard's Mortuary (490 Cemetery Rd, Silsbee, TX 77656). A graveside service was held on Sunday, September 22nd 2024 at 3:30 PM at the Franks Branch Cemetery-Fred (21650 FM 92, Silsbee, TX 77656).
