She was predeceased by: her parents, Joel Wesley "Jimmy" Nichols (Stanley Bennett) and Beulah Nichols; and her grandson Ricky Edwin House. She is survived by: her daughters, Kimberly Maelena Curry (Cody Sherrod) and Ashlee Angelena Curry (Richard House); her grandsons, Sam Elam and David Elam; and her brother Alfred Derington. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
