She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Miller and Agnes Miller; her brothers, Raymond Miller, Jr. and Odell Miller; her husband Sidney A. Garrett; her daughter Karen Lee Garrett; and her grandson Bryan McClain.

She is survived by: her daughter Kathy McClain; her granddaughter Shannon Milner (Billy); her great grandchildren, Addison and Brynn; and her sister Shirley Lovell (Richard).
