He is survived by: his children, Christopher Frederick Haist (Angela Smith Haist) and Erika Gabrielle Haist Carey (Randy Carey); his wife Polly; his sisters, Marilyn Haist Huebner and Clarice Haist Hedges; his grandchildren, Patrick Carey, Alexandra Carey Woodland, Chandler Haist, Annabelle Haist and Karl Haist; and his great grandchild Finlay Randolph Carey.
