We are sad to announce that on May 29, 2023, at the age of 93, Walter Collins Jr. of Shiro, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Collins, Sr. and Annie Mooring; his sister Oretha Collins Jackson; his daughter Debra Stuart; and his wife Racine Moye.

He is survived by: his daughter DeLisa Cooper (Tim); his grandchildren, Raschene Singleton (Mike), Tatum Cooper, Tori Cooper and Calvin Cooper (Renata); his son-in-law Robert Stuart; his sisters-in-law, Gloria Kavanaugh and La Ruth Stewart; and his nieces and nephews, Cynthia Barnes, Vivian Carroll (Lee), Roderick Kavanaugh, Mark Stewart and Ronald Stewart. He is also survived by several extended family members and friends.
