He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Leigh Cox and Jewel Cox; his wife Lorene Medford Cox; and his daughters, Catherine Cox Sullivant, Susan Jewel Cox, Carolyn Cox O'Donnell (Joe) and Virginia Cox Brown. He was also cherished by six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
