She was predeceased by: her parents, Guadalupe Fernandez and Deodoro Fernandez of Shiro; her brother Eduardo Fernandez; her husband Santos Gurrola; and her siblings, Sidonia Smith, Baleriana Klawinsky and George (Louise Fernandez).
She is survived by: her children, Mary Estella Gurrola, Cynthia Lofton (Nathan), David Gurrola (Adrienne), Dora Schneider (Shawn) and Daniel Gurrola (Cris). She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren.
