He was predeceased by: his sister Debby Leonard. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Leonard; his daughters, Desiree Ruiz (John) of Port Lavaca, Rachel Carey (Chris) of Pottsboro and RaeAnn Leonard of Victoria; his stepdaughter Jamie Petru-Kalisek (C. J.) of Lufkin; and his sister Thea King (David) of Flatonia. He is also survived by 14 grandkids.

Memorial contributions may be given to Shiner Police Department.
